1. Statement of Commercial Transparency

In strict compliance with Section 18 of the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010) and Google Search Quality Rater Guidelines for Your Money or Your Life (YMYL) content, 2nd Act Realty maintains complete public transparency regarding our commercial operations, revenue sources, and third-party affiliate partnerships.

We do not present our publication as an “independent analyst” while concealing commercial arrangements. We treat every commercial connection as an openly declared professional relationship, ensuring our readers can evaluate our research with full context.

2. How We Are Funded

To provide institutional-grade property research, demographic analyses, and market benchmark wraps freely to the Australian public without requiring paywalls or paid subscriptions, 2nd Act Realty generates revenue through two primary channels:

  • Commercial Referral Partnerships: When readers choose to contact or engage select qualified buyers advocates, licensed mortgage brokers, or property research platforms via links on our website, 2nd Act Realty may receive a commercial referral fee, introduction commission, or marketing retainer.
  • Editorial & Platform Sponsorships: Qualified industry platforms—such as property data providers, tax depreciation quantity surveyors, or property insurance specialists—may sponsor specific research guides or data visualization tools.

3. Our Four Core Ethical Commitments

Our commercial relationships operate within strict, non-negotiable ethical boundaries:

1. Mandatory rel=”sponsored”

Every commercial, affiliate, or paid partner link is explicitly marked with rel="sponsored" in the HTML markup, complying fully with search engine webmaster rules and anti-link-scheme regulations.

2. Zero Editorial Pre-Approval

Commercial partners never receive advance previews of research articles, and they possess zero editorial sign-off or veto power. Our research conclusions are determined entirely by primary economic data.

3. Capped Commercial Density

We maintain strict editorial saturation limits: at most one commercial partner link is permitted per article, appearing in no more than roughly one in three published research guides.

4. Natural Descriptive Anchors

We do not use repeated exact-match commercial keyword anchors. Links are placed using natural brand names or plain-text descriptions, accompanied by clear inline notices.

4. Register of Commercial Partner Categories

Below is our active register of commercial relationship categories. We only partner with entities that hold appropriate Australian regulatory licences and credentials:

Readers must exercise independent due diligence and verify licences before engaging any third-party professional.
